Frequently Asked questions
We developed our dance studio with parents and small children in mind, therefore we do not require the purchase of a uniform or specic attire from the studio. We do recommend that the child wears comfortable clothing like shorts, leggings, t-shirts, leotards and tights. We do not allow the use of shoes in class and children and caregivers taking the class should either wear non-slip socks or ballet slippers, this is for the safety of class participants and cleanliness of our dance space.
Membership fees are the average monthly tuition, calculated based on the total number of classes in the year and with all the closures factored in. A calendar with the dates of closure for the year is provided on our website. The monthly membership system allows:
- Parents to make smaller gradual payments than having to commit to an entire session
- More exibility with a month to month commitment
- No need to re-register your student every session or every year
It is not possible to put a membership on hold. If a membership is canceled, we are unable to hold a spot for the student as there might be a demand from other students for a spot in that class. We do oer unlimited free make up classes that can be scheduled before or after the student’’s absence.
All missed classes are required to be made up while the student is still enrolled. If you are having trouble scheduling your make up class, please contact our office.
Simply Ballet is not a child care provider, we kindly ask parents to stay nearby in case your child needs assistance.
